How to find your Panopto Folder ID

If you haven't yet created a Panopto account, see this article: How do I create my Panopto account?

To successfully transfer Video on Demand (VOD) files to a Panopto account, users need to know their Panopto account Folder ID information.

Locating your unique Folder ID use the following steps (once you have an account):

  1. If you have not done so already, log in to Panopto

    Panopto main screen.
  2. Click on "My Folder"

  3. Click on the Folder Settings wheel/cog icon
    Panopto Folder Settings icon.
  4. Click "Manage" to find the Folder ID

  5. Copy and paste your Folder ID into the VOD transfer request form
