How can I add a quiz into a Panopto Video?

You can insert a quiz question into the timeline of any Panopto video you create. Question types available include:

1. True/False
2. Multiple Choice
   
3. Multiple Select
   
4. Fill in the Blank
   

IMPORTANT: Click the Apply button to save all changes made when editing a Panopto video.

Steps to Add a Quiz to a Video

1. Navigate to the video you have saved in Panopto
   
2. Hover over the video image tile and click on the edit icon
   
3. Place the playhead (red line) on the timeline at the position you want the quiz to appear for the viewer
   
   
4. Click the + button above the timeline and choose "Add a Quiz"
   
5. Enter a title for the quiz (a), the question text (b), select the question type (c), possible answers (selecting the correct answer(s)) (d), add addition answer options as needed (e), and optionally include feedback explaining the correct answer (f)
   
   
6. Click Add a Question if you'd like to add more questions to the quiz. When more than one question has been added to a quiz, the Back and Next button will allow you to navigate between questions.
   
7. Click Done when all questions have been added.
   
8. Customize any settings for how you'd like the quiz to function including re-ordering the questions if needed. All options are selected by default. 
   
9. Click the Finish button when complete.
   
10. Click the Apply button at the top of the Panopto page to save all these changes to the video.
