Why can't I add/record a Panopto video?
If the only Panopto folder option available to you is "Everything", as seen in the screenshot below, when you try to add/record a Panopto video in Talon, it is likely you need to re-authenticate with Panopto.
How to Re-authenticate in Panopto
- Look for a Panopto Video (external learning tool) link in your Talon course and click on it. Instructors can add this link using the Existing Activities button > External Learning Tools > Panopto Video. If students will be asked to use Panopto in the course, it's best practice to ask students to click this link to ensure they have the needed access.
- You might also try to open a new tab and log in directly to Kirkwood's Panopto site. Then return to the Talon course and see if recording and uploading is possible.
