Can I use Turnitin to check for AI use?

There are many concerns of inaccuracies and bias when it comes to AI detection tools. Careful review and healthy skepticism of any AI detection report, including Turnitin, are recommended. See Is Artificial Intelligence (AI) detection software accurate?

Note: Turnitin's Originality Checker does scan for the use of generative AI and reports a score back to the instructor. At this time, students cannot see this score.
