Why do I need to enable my exams in Honorlock?

Why do I need to enable my exams in Honorlock?

Honorlock is a remote proctor option for students who cannot come to our test center locations. They might be overseas or have other barriers making physical monitoring difficult or impossible. Honorlock provides students an option to complete a proctored exam with a webcam and a stable internet connection (min 1.5MB/s). There is an associated fee of $9.50 per exam the student would need to pay when choosing this option.

Honorlock must be enabled for any Online course that requires monitored exams, tests or quizzes. To enable Honorlock in Talon, click on the Student Tools menu > Honorlock... For more guidance see How do I enable Honorlock for my remote students?

Notes
Instructors should NOT enable Honorlock if requiring students to use Respondus Lockdown Browser.
