Test room etiquette

Test room etiquette

Idea
In order to maintain a conducive testing environment, we ask all test takers to refrain from behavior that may be disruptive or inappropriate in the test room, including but not limited to any of the following:
  1. Distracting other test takers (e.g., by reading aloud, tapping pencils, or crinkling/tearing papers)
  2. Encroaching upon another test taker's personal space
  3. Moving equipment or furniture, or using it for anything other than its intended purpose
  4. Defacing Test Center equipment or furniture (e.g., writing on desks)
  5. Wearing excessive fragrances (e.g., perfume, cologne) or presenting excessive body odor
  6. Removing your shoes
If you are engaging in these or similar behaviors while at the Test Center, we will politely ask you to refrain, to remedy the situation, or return at a later time when the situation has been remedied. We appreciate your cooperation and thank you in advance for helping us create the best possible testing experience for everyone.
