Scheduling Kirkwood academic course exams

Accessing RegisterBlast
For Kirkwood academic course exams, you must be signed into Talon before scheduling an exam. This will ensure your student information and any accommodations are properly attached to your registration.
- Log into Talon.
- Navigate to your course.
- Along the top toolbar, click Student Tools. The click Test Center/RegisterBlast.
- If you don't see your exams listed in your RegisterBlast student dashboard, click Please view the full exam list to schedule.
Navigating the drop-down menus
Menu | Instructions |
Where do you want to take your exam? | Select from Kirkwood Test Center's locations.
Please note that not all exams are offered at all locations. Please see our Locations help article for information about testing at other Kirkwood locations. |
Choose a group | Select Kirkwood academic course exams. |
Choose a course prefix Choose a course number Choose a course section | Filter through the available exams by selection your course prefix, number, and section (e.g., BIO-168-ATW101). |
Choose an exam | Select your exam. If you do not see an exam listed, it is possible that your instructor has not yet submitted an exam to the Test Center, or their submission has not yet been approved. Contact your instructor or the Test Center for next steps. |
| Select accommodations | If you have approved testing accommodations, select which one(s) you'd like to use. If you don't have approved accommodations, you won't see this section. |
Choose a date | Click on an available date from the calendar. If a date is greyed out, it is not available. |
Choose a time | Select an available appointment time. |
Who is taking this exam? | Your first name, last name, and Kirkwood email address should auto-populate in the fields. Enter any additional required information into the fields provided. |
Test Center rules | Read our rules and tick the box to agree to them. |
Finalizing your appointment
You must complete these steps for your registration to be complete.
- Click Add to cart.
- If you wish to schedule multiple appointments, click Add another exam on the next page and follow the above steps again. Please note that appointment times cannot overlap.
- When you are finished scheduling appointments, click Complete Registration.
- On the next page, you will see [Name], your registration is complete! You will also receive an email confirmation.
