How do I edit my homepage?

You can only edit custom homepages. So step 1 is to create a custom homepage, or at least figure out if you have a custom homepage already. Talon courses are initially created with a system shared homepage layouts that you cannot change directly. 

Do I Have a Custom Homepage?

Click on Course Admin > Homepages. If you see any homepage titles that are linked in blue clickable text, these are custom homepages that you can edit. Black, unclickable homepage titles are system homepages you can copy, but not edit directly.

Create a Custom Homepage

You can create a copy of an existing homepage or create a new homepage layout. To create a copy, click the down arrow after the homepage title and choose "Copy."

To create a new homepage, click the Create Homepage button at the top of the Homepage page.

REMINDER: After you copy or create a new homepage, be sure to set it as the Active Homepage using the Active Homepage dropdown menu and click Apply to save the change.
