How do I change the open or close dates of my Talon course?
When courses are created in Talon, they are typically set to open for student on the morning (12AM) of the first official day of the section as it appears in Colleague. You can change this on the
Talon Course Management page (a separate website outside of Talon). Courses are set to close 14 days after the official last day of the class.
To Change the Open/Close Dates
Click on My Talon Courses.
Click the edit (pencil) icon next to the course title.
Update the dates as needed.
Submit

Note: Students who receive an Incomplete (I) grade in your course at the end of the term will automatically retain access to the course after it closes. We change their role to allow for access to the closed course. So there is no need to change the end date for students in that situation.
