How can allow a student to take another quiz attempt or retake a quiz?

The quiz Special Access settings can be used to permit additional attempts as well as unique due dates and availability dates for the students selected. 

Setting up Special Access

  1. Click on Course Admin > Quizzes > edit the quiz settings
  2. Toggle open the Availability Dates & Conditions section on the right
  3. Click the Manage Special Access Link
  4. Leave the first option selected “Allow selected users special access to this quiz”

  5. Click on the Add Users to Special Access button
  6. Change the date requirements if needed
  7. Change the attempts allowed to allow more attempts
  8. Select the user(s) that these settings will apply to

  9. Click the Save button to save your selection and settings
  10. Save and Close the Special Access window
  11. Save and Close the quiz settings
Notes
Note: Deleting/Resetting an attempt will also permit a user to take a quiz again, but the historical data will be lost. Learn more about resetting a quiz attempt in the Talon Faculty User's Guide.
